Though we wade into the waters
We never find the answers
Persistence, it really is futile
And our hopes, they’re all so fragile
Still, vigilant we stand around
Waiting for the answers to be found

People here and there find answers
But what value do they really hold?
We sit around and exchange glances
Holding back the truth we all know
That all those are just worthless
It seems to always be one answer more

No matter what we seem to find
We will always be stock blind
Our eyes hidden from the truth
What do we see but shadows of the lights?
Some of us know the ‘truth’ is moot
But others hold onto their little lies

We all search for answers
But they are not to be found
So on we live with this curse
‘Til the day we return to the ground
