Read This If You’re Down

This next poem…
What will it be about?
I have no clue
Should I condemn
And force a clearing cloud
To move out of the blue
I’ll write it about nothing at all
And then sometime next fall
I’ll find all this gibberish
And wonder, “What the fish!”
“These birds don’t fly!?!”

So now I bring to an end
This poem that I now lend
To whoever needs a good cheering
I hope this has brought you some clearing

Sudden Sullennes

Passing through a sudden sullenness
I found a deathly lifelessness
Ties broke, anger tore
For the last bit of the long lost lore
What I write I really don’t know
But write I must to help the flow
Emotion piled perilously inside
Cease with the give up of the fight
Help them along, then guide them
That is the way to finding peace
I am finished now, after all that
My written energy has gone all flat
So this is goodbye to you my reader
